Where to Watch Football in Columbus

There’s no question that Ohio State football games dominate Saturdays in the fall. But if you aren’t lucky enough to have tickets to the game, or the Buckeyes are away, or you don’t have the channel for the big game, where is the best place to go? We’ve gathered a list of the top local hangouts and where to watch football in Columbus, Ohio.

Short North Pint House

With over 75 beers in house and a fully-stocked bar, the Short North Pint House is a no brainer for OSU gameday. There’s plenty of TV’s, bar space, and seating, and the atmosphere is always exciting. Added bonus: they have a large food menu to cure all your cravings, including appetizers, entrees, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and more.

Grandview Cafe

Take your pick on inside or outside – either way Grandview Cafe is a great spot to watch college football. During OSU and NFL game days, you can get $20 pitchers for $16 and $14 pitchers for $12. Not a big beer fan? They offer $3 Jell-O shots everyday!

Fourth Street Bar and Grill

If you’re looking to enjoy the Buckeyes on campus, Fourth Street is the the place to be. You’ll get the feel of a campus bar, with plenty of good beer, and above average food for Ohio State campus! On Saturdays, you can enjoy $3.50 Jameson, Fireball, and Crown Royal from 9pm-close.

Miller’s Ale House

Miller’s Ale House is home to 60+ TV screens, so you don’t have to worry about missing a single play. The bar has over 75 beer varieties, including sought-after foreign imports and craft brews, signature cocktail pitchers and loads of specialty drinks. They even have a special Football Menu with great deals on food/beer combos!

The Walrus

Located Downtown, The Walrus offers a full menu of tasty comfort food, 30 beers on draft, a full bar & wine list. The joint has 24 big screen TVs, making it a great place for football Saturdays. They also offer live music every Saturday night, so be sure to stay after the game and enjoy!

Zeno’s

Zeno’s, located in Victorian Village, is tucked away in a great location near The Ohio State University campus and just a short walk away from The Short North. Saturday specials include $3, 20oz Coors Light Stadium Drafts and $5 Bloody Mary’s!

The Little Bar

The Little Bar is a sports bar located on OSU campus. Stop by for their Tiny Gate, an exciting tailgate party they host for each home game! Grab your friends and enjoy drink specials, DJs, and a big projector to view the game. Go Bucks!

R Bar

R Bar is known for being one of the best hockey bars, but is also a great spot for football. Located in the Arena District, their draft list is on point. Their Saturday specials include $2 Coronas, $3 Mexican Imports, $5 Quesadilla, $4 Queso, $4 Unlimited Chips and Salsa. Cheers to that!

Westie’s Gastropub

Westie’s has multiple locations in Columbus, but we are partial to the Brewery District location for game day. It’s a great spot to watch the game away from the craziness and action from campus. Sit back, relax, and enjoy their delicious shareables and drinks.

Rooster’s

Their slogan, “A fun, casual joint,” just about sums it up! There’s nothing more classic than wings and football, and Rooster’s is never short on wings. You’ll love their Saturday Happy Hour, which lasts from 11am-7pm. Enjoy $2.75 220z domestic draughts, $2.25 16oz domestic draughts, and more!

Ready, set, game day! Get comfortable, grab a seat, and cheer on the Buckeyes to victory at any of these spots in Columbus. O-H…
