For over 20 years Lori has been an integral part of the Borror Properties family. Starting with the family business in 1989, she directly managed a wide range of team members including marketers, legal teams and property managers. In 2008 she founded Borror Properties with Doug Borror. According to Doug, “Lori’s in-depth knowledge of commercial and residential real estate, new construction and property management led me to believe she was the right partner for the job”. Her expertise in these areas, as well as her extensive local real estate experience, has provided value and cost savings to Borror Properties’ clients. She is able to quickly evaluate targets, marketability, and operational aspects of a project and then develop a strategic plan to lead her team to success.
A New Jersey native, Lori is now a Buckeye at heart. She came to Ohio to attend Wittenberg University, where she met her husband of 27 years, Andy. They have two children; daughter Kaileigh recently graduated from Wittenberg and son Connor just completed his first year at The Ohio State University. In line with the Borror philosophy, the Steiner family proudly support Ohio’s local sports teams, especially the Blue Jackets, Clippers and, of course, the Buckeyes! Lori is particularly busy during football season coordinating the Borror Properties tailgate each week, one of the largest tailgates on campus. “I love to tailgate. My license plate even says TAILG81.”
Lori is proud to call Columbus her home. Calling it “a big city and a small town”, Lori feels there is a wealth of opportunity for businesses here in our great city. She is also honored to lead her Borror Properties team. Their successes are her greatest accomplishments; from her property managers to her Truberry Custom Homes group, “we work better together.”
“Look for a situation where your work will give you as much happiness as your spare time.” – Edward L. Bernays
