- Take an active interest in your association, but understand that your Board of Directors are typically volunteers with full time jobs. If you are unhappy, offer solutions, assistance, & options.
- Remember anything done to the exterior of your home requires architectural approval before you start!
- Watch for any notices from your community or management company. These typically contain important information such as your community’s financial standing, budget information, upcoming meetings and elections, dues invoices, and possible violations of your deed restrictions.
- It is your HOA; your money, your home; your community – all designed to protect your real estate investment.
