BORROR and White Castle, Generations Working Together

The Borror and Ingram families both have a long history in the Columbus metropolitan area and beyond. On Monday, August 8th, the BORROR and Ingram teams came together to kick off a new project in the Short North: The Castle.

Doug Borror, CEO of BORROR, opened the groundbreaking ceremony. He shared “three years ago, our team envisioned designing and constructing an iconic, mixed-use project” at 965 North High Street, the location of White Castle Store #13. After turning dirt with giant spatulas, in lieu of traditional shovels, the two organizations filled a time capsule with memorabilia to be sealed for fifty years and re-opened on August 8, 2066.

The Short North is one of the most dynamic areas of town and is the ideal setting for The Castle, which will include Class A office space, high-profile retail, public parking, first-class residential, and, of course, a new flagship White Castle Restaurant.

Stay tuned for updates as the construction progresses. And, mark your calendar for the Grand Opening party in January 2018!
