The Inspiration: Golf legend Jack Nicklaus. Nicklaus was born, raised and educated in Columbus, and built his signature golf course, Muirfield Village, in Dublin.

The Glenn
The Inspiration: Renowned astronaut John Glenn. The first American to orbit the Earth, later elected a U.S. Senator from Ohio, lived in Columbus for much of his life.
The Details: These studio apartments are 445-455 square feet with one bathroom, and go for $1,015-$1,255 a month.
The Allen
The Inspiration: Florence Ellinwood Allen, the first female State Supreme Court justice and first female Federal Court judge. She was first elected to the Ohio Supreme Court in 1922.
The Details: With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, The Allen floor plan ranges from 985 to 1,020 square feet and has a price tag of $1,955 to $2,355 a month.
The Stine
The Inspiration: Children’s book author R.L. Stine. Stine was born in Columbus in 1943 and grew up in Bexley. He graduated from Ohio State University before moving to New York City to pursue his career as a writer.
The Details: The Stine boasts one bedroom and one bathroom, for a total of 648-665 square feet. The rent ranges from $1,335 to $1,685.
The Oakley
The Inspiration: Famed shooter Annie Oakley. The 1800s sharpshooter was born in Greenville, Ohio, and that town’s Garst Museum and Annie Oakley Center is an easy day trip from Columbus.
The Details: The one-bed, one-bath units clock in at 748 square feet and rent for $1,885 a month.
The Campbell
The Inspiration: Mary Katherine Campbell, the first and only two-time Miss America pageant winner. Campbell competed as “Miss Columbus,” and was named Miss America in 1922 and 1923.
