The old saying “two’s company, three’s a crowd” doesn’t always apply. For instance, in apartment living, if a resident makes three friends that also live in their community, they are almost 100% likely to renew and stay.
At Borror Properties, we understand this need to feel included and to be “at home.” We host events and outings to provide opportunities for everyone to get out and meet neighbors. A few of our best attended events in the past would be our annual party and our bi-annual wine & beer tasting. Most recently, the Grand Pizza Tasting was by far our highest ever attended event!
We encourage our residents to come out, participate and bring a friend. We want our communities to be welcoming and fun for all.

March
Around The World Wine & Beer & Foods: (Silvertree: Thursday, 10th, Karric: Thursday, 24th, Springburne: Friday, 25th): Located in the model, we will have wines, beer, and finger foods for residents to eat/drink. We will provide exotic juices for the kids to try as well. *Karric will be an adult only event* We will have a presentation so that residents can not only socialize, but learn some useful information, while tasting.

April
Spring Sale: (Silvertree: Thursday, 14th, Springburne: Friday, 22nd): Set up around the pool area, or grass, for residents to sell/trade any unwanted spring cleaning items. Refreshments will be served, in the form of drinks and light finger food.
May
Flower & Planter Workshop: (Silvertree: Thursday, 5th, Karric: Wednesday, 4th)
Springburne: Friday, 20th: Partner with our landscaping vendors, for donations of flowers, soil, and pots. This year we will have a large selection of plants to choose from, as well as herbs. We host a space in front of the clubhouse for residents to come and grab plants to plant around their patio. Light food & refreshments served.
Contest: Patio decorating competition. The best-decorated patio will win a $50 gift card. *Residents must attend event to win. *
June
Car Wash & Sunday Bar: (Silvertree: Thursday, 9th, Karric: TBD, Springburne: Friday, 17th) Residents can stop by the leasing office to have the leasing team and incredible maintenance staff clean your car. There will be a big Sunday bar set up with all the fixings to choose from while you wait, and for the kids! We will host various raffles for prizes. Held outside, in the grass, as this one can get messy!
July
Pool Party: (Silvertree: Thursday, 14th, Karric: Sunday, 17th, Springburne: Friday, 22nd): Hosted at the pool. We will have a DJ play music and pizza, subs and appetizers will be served. This is a great chance for dancing, karaoke, and a time for residents and staff to socialize.We will be face painting for the children as well.
Contest: Who has the cutest pet? Residents upload pictures to Facebook, or e-mail directly to R.E. coordinator, for the chance to win a $50 gift card, and their pet’s photo will be shared on our social media sites. Costumes or any type of dress up encouraged! *Residents must attend event to win.*
August
Resident Appreciation Month: (Silvertree: Thursday, 11th, Karric: Thursday, 18th, Springburne: Friday, 19th): Residents can stop by the leasing office to receive a small token of our gratitude for being one of our valued residents. Residents will pick out of a bowl, and win prizes such as, a Cheryl’s cookie, a Borror Candle, and a few gift cards.
All children will receive a Cheryl’s cookie, a few of which will be marked as a grand prize winners of a gift card.
Happy Hour: Hosted at local watering hole.
